When Maxwell's, the legendary music venue and restaurant in Hoboken, closes for good at the end of July, it will be to the same sounds it came in on. The final show will be from a band called "a," whose drummer started out as a cook at Maxwell's. He convinced the restaurant to lend him some practice space and eventually got them to open up the front room for shows. [NYDN]
