Chef Grant Achatz celebrated The Aviary's Outstanding Bar Program JBFA win with a dinner at Gowanus up-and-comer The Pines last night. As you can see, the chef really enjoyed his meal there. It looks like Angelo Romano treated the chef to a table-plated dessert, perhaps as an homage to the one that Achatz serves at Alinea.
