A Luau For Heritage Radio; Tuscan Dinner at Porsena

BUSHWICK — Roberta's is hosting a Hawaiian-themed fundraiser for Heritage Radio Network in their backyard on Sunday, May 19. Daniel Delaney of BrisketTown will be the pitmaster in charge of a whole roast hog, while Maysville, Untitled, and Court St. Grocers will provide the sides. There will also be a food and art silent auction and $10 raffle tickets for a food-centric weekend trip to Seattle. Tickets, which include an annual radio membership, are $95 per person, or $150 for the VIP package. Buy them online. [EaterWire]

EAST VILLAGE — Chef Sara Jenkins recently got back from a trip to Tuscany, and will be serving specials at Porsena inspired by her trip all month long. Tonight the restaurant will serve a special cucina Toscana tasting menu. For $40 per person, the three-course meal includes fresh fava beans, sheep's milk ricotta ravioli, and white wine braised rabbit. The dishes will also be available a la carte. [EaterWire]

UNION SQUARE — Ichabod's just launched brunch, with a menu that includes chilaquiles, fried chicken and biscuits, and a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich. Stay tuned for outdoor seating too, which the restaurant says is soon to come. [EaterWire]
