Yesterday, April Bloomfield prepared hors d'oeuvres for Prince Harry and British Prime Minister David Cameron at an "Innovation is Great" event at Milk Studios in the MePa. This was a part of a campaign "promoting UK tourism, education, business and the strength of US and UK relations." They certainly picked the right chef, because no one has done more to promote English cuisine in this city over the last decade than Ms. Bloomfield. The Queen should give her an MBE for starting the gastropub craze in America. Here's what she served Prince Harry, David Cameron, and the other guests at the party:
The Spotted Pig's Pimm's CupPossible topics of conversation at the party: The Hell's Kitchen freakout, banoffee pie, The Office vs. The Office, Gwyneth and Chris, Ken Friedman's brief involvement with The Smiths.

Fried Cauliflower with Curry Mayonnaise
Pea Pudding
Beef and Stilton Pie
Cheddar and Piccalilly Tea Sandwiches
