Early next week, the Jerry Garcia, Bob Weir, and Phil Lesh of the New York restaurant world will open Lafayette, a French restaurant/state of mind in Noho. Grub Street gets an early peek at the menu which includes oysters, charcuterie, duck au poivre, steak frites, wood-fired dorade, and yes, rotisserie chicken for two.
