Charlemagne, an 'American Brasserie' in the West Village

Here's a look around Charlemagne, a new West Village restaurant that bills itself as an "American brasserie." The menu features some overtly French dishes like moules marinieres, frisée aux lardons, and skate meunière, as well as New American dishes like roast chicken with dumplings, pot roast with seasonal vegetables, and a pork chop. The chef here is Jodi Bernhard, formerly of Casa Pomona on the Upper West Side. The menu isn't terribly exciting, but the space is pretty enough and it's not too pricey, so maybe this will be a hit with the neighbors. Here's the menu:
