hillcountrybbq.jpgNow that Shiner beer has finally gotten a New York distributor, Hill Country will finally have beer on tap. Owner Marc Glosserman has been holding out for the iconic Texas beer since opening in 2007, plying the brewery with letters and gifts of smoked brisket. Now the restaurant is the first in the city to carry Shiner, with four different kinds on tap plus more in bottles. [NYT]
