Kerry Diamond, the Carroll Gardens restaurateur behind Seersucker and Nightingale 9, started a new food magazine with her designer friend Claudia Wu. Cherry Bombe is a "biannual magazine that celebrates women and food." Diamond and Wu met at Harper's Bazaar years ago.
The first issue features Gabrielle Hamilton, Christina Tosi, Jennifer Rubell, Sofia Coppola, April Bloomfield, and model Karlie Kloss (she's on the cover). The mag's Kickstarter page notes that almost all of the contributors and subjects are ladies. Wu is the creative director and Diamond is the editorial director. The "tastemakers" issue will hit newsstands early next month, and it will retail for $18. Follow them @cherrybombemag, and head over to T Mag for a peek at some of the pages from the first issue.
