The Sandy Chronicles: Taking Care of Business

In this episode of Eater's original video series The Sandy Chronicles, Hervé Poussot reopens his bakery, Almondine, in Dumbo. On the other side of the East River, Home/Made restaurateur Monica Byrne and Linda and Claudio Marini from Barbarini Alimentari attend a meeting at City Hall about small businesses that are still recovering from the storm. Hit play on the video above to hear the good news and the bad news.

This is an ongoing series — Eater will continue to track these restaurateurs on camera until their post-Sandy stories have been told.
