For years, fine dining fans had suggested that Danny Meyer and Gabriel Kreuther's The Dining Room at The Modern deserved three sparklers from the New York Times (Frank Bruni gave it two stars in 2005). And yesterday, Pete Wells waved his wand and made it so. Now both dining rooms, front and back, are members of the Three Star Club. Here's a photo of the staff toasting the review before service yesterday.
