Mets Fans to Get Three Times the Pat LaFrieda This Year

When the Major League Baseball season opens oh-so-soon, Mets fans at Citi Field will have even more opportunities to avoid watching their team play by waiting in line for $15 black angus filet mignon sandwiches from Pat LaFrieda. Lafrieda reps email today with news that the Mets' stadium is getting a second filet mignon sandwich stand (the first one was an instant hit when it launched in August), in addition to a restaurant inside the Delta Sky360°Club called Pat LaFrieda's Chop House. That one will, of course, have a custom burger called the Citi Field Amazin' Burger, along with a small handful of entrées and his sweet, sweet Italian sausage sandwich.

The Mets' home opener is April 1.
