Check Out the Food & Music Lineup for GoogaMooga '13

Massive food and music festival/bacon-scented mosh pit The Great GoogaMooga is retuning to Prospect Park on May 17. This year's fest will run for three days, and Superfly, the company behind this festival and Bonnaroo, has tapped some big names from the food and music worlds to participate. The Flaming Lips, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, The Darkness, Matt & Kim, De La Soul, and Sharon Jones & the Dap Kings are all slated to perform. The vendor lineup features teams from over 85 restaurants, including Gwynnett St., Eataly, M. Wells, Maison Premiere, Momofuku Milk Bar, Roberta's, Rosemary's, and Umami Burger. The Nomad, PDT, and Pouring Ribbons will serve drinks as a part of the "VIP Cocktail experience," and the beverage tents will offer over 75 beers and over 100 wines.

The Friday night concert with Yeah Yeah Yeahs, The Flaming Lips, and The Darkness will be a ticketed event, but guests that purchase tickets will also get a pass for either Saturday or Sunday. Those tickets will go on sale on the GoogaMooga site on March 28 (price has not been announced yet). Complimentary tickets for Saturday and Sunday will be given away at random from Monday, April 1 through Wednesday, April 3 on googamooga.com. Like last year, guests with complimentary general admission tickets will pay for the food and drinks, and there will be VIP experiences and other premium options for those that want to pay extra. One of these special ticketed events is a three-course meal at a chef's counter prepared by Christopher Kostow of The Restaurant at Meadowood.

Last year, there were food shortages and technical snafus on the first day, but Superfly worked out most of the kinks for day two. Hopefully, the group has learned from its mistakes. Here's the complete food and beverage lineup, so far. Expect more additions in the coming weeks:
