It looks like the long-rumored opening of a Sankeys nightclub in New York is finally going to happen. The UK based club had been planning on opening a new club in Hell's Kitchen, but that deal fell apart and will now become the new Space. Sankeys then moved on and now has a deal in place to take over the space that housed the short-lived and never-loved District 36. The club will hold 800 people and will be run by established club promoters Ibiza United under the Sankeys brand. [DNAInfo]
