1) Park Slope: Beloved pizza and Southern Italian restaurant Franny's is closing up after service Sunday, reopening in a new space down the street on April 8. Above, a peek inside the new space. [PLYWOOD]
2) Upper West Side: West Side Rag reports that a bar called Beacon Bar is opening between the Hotel Beacon and the Beacon Theater on Broadway between 74th and 75th streets. Its expected opening date is sometime next month. [PLYWOOD]
3) Lower East Side: Bowery Boogie gets a sneak peek at Bobby's, a new club apparently set to open tomorrow at 141 Chrystie. According to Urban Daddy, it will have a gif-making photobooth. [POST-PLYWOOD]
4) Upper West Side: And DNAinfo checks in with the newest location of Birch Coffee, opening on Columbus between 96th and 97th streets. This will be the third location of the coffee shop, which has one in Flatiron and another in Greenwich Village. Owners Paul Schlader and Jeremy Lyman hope to make this one a flagship location, with a kitchen run by chef Jehangir Mehta. It should open in April. [PLYWOOD]
5) Park Slope: French bistro Moutarde is most definitely dunzo, with rumors floating for weeks that Le Pain Quotidien is moving in. Per Brownstoner, that is most definitely the case. [PRE-PLYWOOD]
