Grand Street's Shalom Chai Pizza is having trouble reopening after being shut down by the DOH on March 8. The restaurant, which The Lo Down describes as "one of the only kosher restaurants remaining on the Lower East Side," has a Department of Health hearing tomorrow but with Passover starting on Monday, it likely won't reopen soon even if cleared.
