UPPER EAST SIDE ? Crown, John DeLucie's swank Upper East Side celebrity-magnet, has launched a bar menu. The menu is available at the bar from open to close, and features items like steak tartare, silk handkerchief pasta with a white bolognese, and a burger. All items run between $10 and $19. HELL'S KITCHEN ? ESPN analyst and former Duke Blue Devils basketball player Jay Williams will be at Hudson Common for a March Madness kickoff party from 6 to 11 p.m. on Thursday, March 21. [EaterWire]

LADIES AND STEAKS ? Eater National has a massive (and well-worth-the-time) look at steakhouses' attempts to market to women. Women were unable to dine at Keens until 1905, but GM Bonnie Jenkins says that "even 16 years ago it was more of a man's place." Read through to see how Keens's clientele has evolved over that time and how other steakhouses (see: STK, others) have tried marketing themselves to women. [Eater National]
