While much of Rockaway Beach may be still recovering from Hurricane Sandy, that's not stopping the oceanfront Queens neighborhood from getting its own wine bar. Capital New York reports that a Rockaways bartender and amateur surfer named Rashida Jackson is opening a spot called Surya Wine Bar, which she describes as "basically a surf wine bar" with vino by the glass starting at six bucks.
