New York has a serious case of Carbone fever right now. Some of the lucky people that have visited Rich Torrisi and Mario Carbone's Italian-American fantasyworld have shared photos of the restaurant on the Internet. As you can see, the name "Carbone" is hidden throughout the space. It appears on the plate once you finish your veal chop, and you'll notice it on the coaster once you down that Peroni (or Dom Perignon). Team Carbone finally released the official menu (PDF). It includes a double lamb chop for $49, and a mixed grill plate for $100. The pastas (or "macaroni") run $19 to $32.
