Residents along the southern stretch of Avenue B are mobilizing against the potential new nightclub from the owners of Urge, the Second Avenue gay bar that shuttered earlier this year. Back in September, Epic City Pub was denied its application for a full liquor license, and now the bar is trying to get a license directly from the State Liquor Authority. The East 4th Street A & B Block Association isn't happy and took to the streets yesterday with flyers calling for their voices to be heard at a special meeting this Sunday, March 17. [EV Grieve]
