The Dead Rabbit will finally start serving guests this evening. This is the stylish two-floor cocktail bar and pub in the Financial District by Sean Muldoon, from Belfast's Merchant Hotel, and Jack McGarry, an alum of the London Milk & Honey. The bar's been set for some time now, but Muldoon and McGarry have been waiting for Con Ed to turn on the gas. The gas got turned on last night, so it soft opens tonight.
Here's the schedule for the next couple of days: Both floors open tonight and tomorrow at 5 p.m. and at 6 p.m. on Sunday. On Monday they open at 5 p.m. Tuesday the bar's hosting a special event so it's closed, then Wednesday it opens fully. On Wednesday the first floor taproom will open at 11 a.m., and the second floor parlor will open at 5 p.m. Head over to the website to check out the drinks list, with classic cocktails, bottled punches, and more, and the food menu, which has raw bar items, a burger, and English pub classics like fish and chips.
