The LCL, Baba Ghanouge, and More Certified Open

1) Midtown: The Gerber Group, the people behind places like Whiskey Bar and Lilium, have opened The LCL: Bar & Kitchen in the Westin New York Grand Central (formerly the Helmsley Hotel). Open for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and late nights?it closes at 4 a.m. Thursday to Saturday?The LCL has seasonal, comfort food-y dishes. The dinner menu has a LaFrieda burger. 2) Sunset Park: The executive chef of Warren 77, Jose Luis Hernandez, has opened a Sunset Park operation called Cafe Zona Sur, DNAinfo learns. A neighborhood coffee shop/café currently open until 4 p.m. daily, dinner service?with a menu that will include steak, seafood, and Argentinian staples?is coming later this month. Status: Certified Open; 4314 Fourth Ave., 718-788-1606.

3) Midtown: The Bryant Park Holiday Market pop-up MMM...Enfes has opened a brick-and-mortar on 39th Street. Per Midtown Lunch, it sells a selection of both sweet and savory Turkish pastries. Status: Certified Open; 70 W 39th St.

4) Financial District: Midtown Lunch also learns that Tribeca-based Baba Ghanouge has opened a second location downtown. It's taken over a former Popeye's location on Fulton, trading out fried chicken for falafel. Status: Certified Open; 143 Fulton St., 212-608-1666.
