Forgione Eyes Tribeca Space for American Cut Steakhouse

New, 9 comments

Marc Forgione may soon add another restaurant to his growing empire. Tribeca Citizen notices that the March Community Board 1 agenda includes a liquor license application for American Cut in the current Trattoria Cinque space. This is most certainly a new outpost of the steakhouse that Forgione opened in Atlantic City last year. Presumably, this means that Trattoria Cinque is closing or moving, but there's still no word yet from the owners about what their plans are.

The Forge is already planning an Asian concept called Kio in Tribeca, and he's working on the revamp of Abe & Arthur's in the Meatpacking District. The Trattoria Cinque space sits just a few blocks away from his eponymous flagship restaurant.
