2) East Village: California-based chain Zpizza has put up signage announcing its impending arrival in a space at 26 E. First St., EV Grieve notes. This location was first announced way back in 2010. [PLYWOOD]
3) East Village: EV Grieve also got word on Monday that the now-shuttered, 34-year-old Whole Earth Bakery at 130 St Mark's Place is going to become an Italian restaurant. [PRE-PLYWOOD]
4) West Harlem 3: The owner of the restaurants Acqua and Bettolona is just about ready to open a new spot at 139th and Amsterdam called Coccola, reports Harlem Bespoke. It has a wood-burning pizza oven. [POST-PLYWOOD]
