Here's a look around Wise Men, a new bar on the Bowery that opened on Wednesday. Wise Men is a collaboration between three friends: photographer Danielle Levitt, S Magazine creative director Christina Chin, and restaurant industry vet Caroleyn Ng. The bar is named after a steakhouse in Chinatown that Chin's family operated decades ago (check out the awesome photo here). The drinks menu focuses on classic cocktails, and the food menu includes a bavette steak, crab toast, clam strips, and a patty melt, plus shareable snacks. Wise Men is open late.
