Grayson Schmitz is hereby crowned the Hottest Chef in New York 2013. If you see her, grovel at her feet or bow at the very least. Ms. Schmitz just opened Willow Road in Chelsea. She beat out 19 other foxy chefs, including the very sexy Ryan Angulo, who lost the competition by just 10 votes. Basically a draw. But chapter seven, section 103 of the Hottest Chef Rulebook (ISBN 13: 978-0062231372) states that there can be only one Hottest Chef at a time. Good thing Angulo's got Boxie the turtle to cheer him up.
Soon, Schmitz will represent New York City in a no-holds-barred national hot chef death match, featuring cooks from all of the other Eater cities. Congratulations to Grayson (and Ryan), and thanks to all the readers that nominated chefs and voted in the competition.
