Vital Signs Are Not Looking Good for Fornino Park Slope

No confirmation on this yet, but Fornino Park Slope appears to be done for good. The four-year-old offshoot of the Williamsburg location?which split from its forebear almost exactly two years ago?shuttered a few weeks ago with a sign saying it would reopen on February 4 after renovations. No renovations have happened, though, and the restaurant remains closed.

According to Here's Park Slope, the rumor mill is churning, with word that the whole staff may have walked out last week. Meanwhile, the website is down, though the phone line is still working. Let's not call this a shutter quite yet, but the signs don't look promising.
