TipsForJesus Leaves $3,500 Tip at The Smith

The mysterious mega-tipper who goes only by the Instagram handle @TipsForJesus has touched down in NYC, leaving a $3,500 tip for a server at the Lincoln Center outpost of The Smith. This is the first time the anonymous do-gooder has struck anywhere on the East Coast, after leaving over $54,000 in tips that ranged from $500 to $10,000 across the Midwest and LA. The rumor going around now is that the man behind the money is Jack Selby, former Vice President of PayPal, but a manager at The Smith could only confirm that the server, Andrew, really did get his $3,500.
