As a tribute to the late Judy Rodgers, chef Justin Smillie will serve some of the dishes from The Zuni Cafe Cookbook at Il Buco Alimentari e Vineria this weekend. His specials menu will include gougeres with prosciutto, ricotta gnocchi, the Zuni Caesar salad, and the restaurant's famed chicken for two. All of these dishes will be offered a la carte from Friday through Sunday during dinner. On Facebook, Smillie notes: "Chef Rodgers informed, and inspired many with her writings and her unwavering dedication to simple food. Her work has been a lighthouse for cooks professional, and home."
