McNally's Bowery Baby to Be Auctioned Off Piece by Piece

As expected, Keith McNally's misunderstood quasi-masterpiece Pulino's closed after service last evening. If you want to own a piece of the restaurant that changed Bowery dining forever, Michael Amodeo & Co. will be selling the chairs, tables, and fixtures at a public auction on January 2. That blue police barricade table would look great in the dining room of a spacious Soho loft, or in the kitchen area of a hip Downtown media company's office. The Pulino's space won't sit empty for very long, though — Keith is planning to open a new French restaurant called Cherche Midi this spring.
