Dough Is Opening a New Doughnut Shop in Chelsea

Bed-Stuy's beloved doughnut shop Dough is expanding to Manhattan this spring. The shop also has a regular spot at Smorgasburg, and already does a healthy wholesale business selling those pillowy, face-sized doughnuts in coffee shops across Brooklyn and Manhattan, but this will only be its second brick and mortar outpost.

Fany Gerson, who co-owns Dough with the team behind Choice Market (and is also the pastry chef behind La Newyorkina), tells Eater that she can't give away the exact address quite yet, but the new shop will be "in Chelsea, somewhere on 19th Street." They hope to open sometime in March or April, most likely with the same menu of flavors ranging from hibiscus to dulce de leche to blood orange.
