Gwynnett St.'s Owen Clark to Cook at Contra Next Week

Fabian Von Hauske and Jermiah Stone are hosting an event at their restaurant Contra to help out their colleague Owen Clark on Monday, December 30. As you may recall, Clark and his crew left Williamsburg critical darling Gwynnett St. last week following the news that the restaurant's owner, Carl McCoy, was arrested as part of an alleged drug bust. Gwynnett St. is closed for renovation, but it's expected to return with a different menu on December 27.

Fabian Von Hauske tells Eater: "We are still working out the details. It will be Owen but we are waiting to see if his people want to work the event and if we can help them in any way. It will be a collaboration dinner." The six-course meal is $66 per person, and reservations can be made by emailing info@contranyc.com.
