It looks like Mario Carbone, Rich Torrisi, and Jeff Zalaznick are opening an outpost of their sandwich hit Parm in Williamsburg. Buried amid speculation about a possible Apple store at 247 Bedford Avenue (former home of The Bagel Store), The Real Deal confirms that the team has already signed a lease with the same landlord for a space on the North 4th Street end of the block. That matches up quite nicely with the liquor license application for a PARM WILLIAMSBURG at 162 North 4th Street filed back in September.
The owners of Umami Burger have also signed a lease for a Williamsburg location on this block, and the landlord says they're also in talks with popular chain Sweetgreen for a space within the same building complex. Add to all that the Whole Foods going up across the street, and this is going to be one heavy-hitting block.
