Is Red Farm Plotting a Williamsburg Location? [UPDATE]

This month's CB1 agenda lists a liquor license application at 20 Skillman Avenue for Red Farm BK LLC. This is the old Anytime/House of Small Wonders space, and the new tenant is applying for a renewal of the old license. Could it be that Ed Schoenfeld and Joe Ng are plotting a Brooklyn expansion of their white-hot Chinese restaurant Red Farm?

Although Schoenfeld has never explicitly mentioned plans for Brooklyn expansion, the restaurateur has been very vocal about his desire to bring the restaurant to different parts of the city. This would be a complete game-changer for the neighborhood, and a great opening for Brooklyn in general. Eater has reached out to Ed Schoenfeld. Stay tuned for more details.
UPDATE: Sadly, this applicant is not affiliated with Ed Schoenfeld and Joe Ng. A rep for Red Farm sends word: "It's not Red Farm. Our legal name is RF Hudson LLC." False alarm. But if we all wish hard enough, maybe someday, somehow, this Red Farm Brooklyn dream will become a reality.
