WEST VILLAGE — On Monday, December 16, The Spotted Pig's sous chef Edie Ugot will prepare traditional Filipino dishes at the restaurant, with a portion of the proceeds from the dinner going towards helping typhoon relief in the Philippines. The Filipino dishes will be offered a la carte along with the regular menu, and like always, tables will be first-come, first-serve. [EaterWire]

MIDTOWN — On New Year's Eve, The Nomad will host a party with food from Daniel Humm and James Kent, drinks from Leo Robitschek, and music by DJ Jessie Felluss and Caleb Hawley & The Brooklyn Sugar Company.
