Romee De Goriainoff to Open Wine Bar on Centre Street

Romee De Goriainoff, the owner of popular Parisian import the Experimental Cocktail Club, is planning a new wine bar at 247-249 Centre St., on the western edge of Little Italy. De Goriainoff tells Eater; "We fell in love with that part of town where the whole area is under a renewal. On this project, we'll focus entirely on wine. And food." The liquor license application is listed under "La Compagnies des Vins Surnaturels," so it sounds like this will probably be a New York outpost of the Experimental Cocktail Club's Parisian wine bar counterpart of the same name. The team will go before the CB2's SLA Licensing Committee next Tuesday.
