EAST VILLAGE — Alex Stupak and Grant Achatz will be collaborating on two Push Project dinners this week at Empellon Cocina: one on Thursday and another on Friday. Stupak explains: "We have decided to execute a second dinner on Friday night but we are not going to repeat the same theme. With a mutual belief that sometimes great stuff can be born from a bit of anarchy we are going to create a second, spontaneous menu. We have no agenda other than to huddle up with our team after Thursdays service, jot down some ideas and make then rush to make them a reality the very next day." If that floats your boat, you can make a reservation via the restaurant's Tumblr page. The price is $325. [EaterWire]
