The Union Square location of T.G.I. Friday's, which opened to some controversy three years ago, might be on its last legs. EV Grieve notices that the restaurant space is for lease. The listing notes: "Ground and second floors can be leased separately. Can create ground floor entrance on 16th Street and combine with the second floor." The T.G.I. Friday's near Penn Station is probably shuttering next year, but even if both of these outposts close, there will still be six other locations in Manhattan were the hard working people of this city can feast upon Jack Daniel's® chicken & shrimp and Thai pork tacos.
For a blast from the past, check out Damon Boelte's assessment of the drinks at the Union Square location from Shitshow Week 2010.
