The Balthazar-Blodget-Bathroom Attendant Scandal of November 2013 has officially come to an end. Earlier today, Keith McNally announced plans to eliminate the bathroom attendant positions at Balthazar after Business Insider's Henry Blodget wrote a post about this practice. Then Blodget took to Twitter to say that McNally should give them other jobs in his company. And now, that's just what Keith is doing. The restaurateur writes to First We Feast:

To give this issue one last flush I'd like to say that any and all Balthazar bathroom attendants I relieve of their jobs will immediately be given another job in my company. They are lovely people and I'd like to work with them forever.

McNally does not, however, have kind words for Mr. Blodget:

[T]o receive such high-minded advice from a man who's been charged with civil securities fraud by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission is a bit like receiving a lesson in business ethics from Bernie Madoff. Of course, those who have had business dealings with Mr Blodget may say it's slightly worse.
Once again, #mcnallywins.
