Paulaner Brauhaus, a Massive Brewpub on the Bowery

Here's a look around Paulaner Brauhaus, the long-in-the works brewery and restaurant from German beer titan Paulaner. The beer menu includes three classic ales that are brewed in house (Hefeweizen, Munich Lager and Munich Dark), plus a few seasonal selections. The food menu has beer hall favorites like pretzels, sausages, weinerschnitzel, and spaetzle, as well as more refined fare like house-cured salmon tararte, and slow-roasted duck leg. Ages ago, the space housed Sammy's Bowery Follies, a depression-era tavern that appealed to the working class folks in the neighborhood. Paulaner Brauhaus is now open for dinner.
