Little Elm, Paul Liebrandt's eight-seat chef's counter inside The Elm, is now accepting reservations, and will begin serving dinner on December 6. The counter will serve an eight-course, $135 tasting menu, Brooklyn's third most expensive after the $255 tasting at Brooklyn Fare and the $195 one at Blanca. A representative for the restaurant says that the additional cost of wine pairings has not yet been finalized, though Ryan Sutton cites the total cost as $200.
The menu at Little Elm, which Liebrandt says will feature "the beauty of two ingredients in each dish," will change daily, and won't overlap at all with the a la carte options served at The Elm. With advance notice, a vegetarian tasting will also be available. Seatings are available Wednesdays through Sundays, and while there's no information on the website yet, reservations can be made now by calling the restaurant at 718-218-1088.
