Tickets Are on Sale for a Mega Super Bowl Food Lounge

New, 1 comment

Tickets went on sale today for passes to The 50 Yard Lounge, a VIP space at One Penn Plaza that will host a series of food-centered events in the week leading up to the Super Bowl. The space itself will span 15,000 square feet of heated roof decks, plazas and restaurants, and every day will host four "quarters" worth of meals and demos by chefs like Michael White, Marc Forgione, Frederik Berselius, and Bill Telepan alongside a few football stars.

Every day has a theme — one day it's "Around the World in a Day," another it's "Time to Tailgate" — and each quarter of the day (aka breakfast, lunch, dinner and late night) is a different event. There aren't a lot of details on who's doing what, but the selection ranges from a French breakfast to a late night pizza tasting to a sushi demo, in which "an NFL legend learns to roll sushi from a sushi rolling master." There will also be beer, wine, and cocktails, and live music and DJs throughout the day. One-day all-inclusive passes are $400 a pop, and can be bought online.
