Labor Disputes

Pig_n_Whistle_NYC_27-2.jpgA waitress at the midtown Pig N Whistle claims she was fired this week for refusing to pay the $96 bill left by a trio of customers who dined-and-dashed. According to the Department of Labor, it's illegal for employers to require such payment, and the waitress says she'll take action against the restaurant on behalf of the "hard working people being exploited through emotional manipulation by restauranteurs."
