Talde is Throwing an All-Star Tasting for the Philippines

New, 2 comments

Dale Talde, David Massoni, John Bush, and the rest of the team at Talde, Pork Slope and Thistle Hill Tavern are hosting a giant tasting event to raise money for the victims of Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines. A solid list of of restaurants have signed on to participate in Taste 4 The Philippines alongside Talde and crew. There's of course a strong showing from Filipino restaurants like Maharlika and Pig & Khao, but other places that have signed on include Toro, Telepan, Roberta's, Mile End, and Speedy Romeo. Along with tastes from those places there will be beer, wine, sake, and drinks from The Wayland.

The event, which takes place on December 4, will be held in The Green Building in Park Slope. There will also be a silent auction alongside the tastings, and all of the proceeds from both will be donated to World Vision, a humanitarian organization that's been providing aid in the Philippines. Tickets are $125 each and can be bought online, where there is also the opportunity to simply send a donation.
