Wallflower, a French Cafe From a Former Daniel Bartender

Here's a look around Wallflower, a tiny West Village bar and restaurant from former Daniel bartender Xavier Herit. The menu from Jared Stafford-Hill (Maison Premiere, Bobo) has things like Beau Soleil oysters, beef tartare, a foie gras sandwich, lobster and shellfish soup, and various pâtés and cheese plates. The drinks list includes eight original cocktails priced from $14 to $16, plus beers, and wines by the bottle or glass. For the big spenders, Wallflower also has a reserve list.
