The return of beloved East Village restaurant Mee Noodle Shop is slowly becoming a reality. The plywood has come down at 223 First Avenue revealing signage for the Chinese food favorite. Earlier this year, an agent at Miron Properties sent word that the restaurant was planning a comeback in that space after a seven-year hiatus. Still no word on an exact opening date just yet.
