This weekend, Rucola in Boerum Hill will be serving house-made tagliatelle with four grams of fresh white truffles for $38. That's probably the cheapest white truffle special in this city. In other fungi-related news, Mayor-elect Bill De Blasio was gifted an $8,000 white truffle, but instead of eating it, he donated the fancy mushroom to the Food and Finance High School in Manhattan.
