Red Farm UWS Starts Dinner; Mark Joseph Wine Feast

Red Farm by Bess Adler

UPPER WEST SIDE — After a month of being open only for lunch, the new outpost of Red Farm will start serving dinner tomorrow night. The menu hasn't yet been finalized, but expect something similar to the lunch menu, with a few tweaks here and there. Dinner service starts at 4:45 p.m. daily. [EaterWire]

SOUTH STREET SEAPORT — Mark Joseph Steakhouse is hosting a wine dinner with Robert Keenan Winery this coming Monday, November 18. The five-course prix fixe meal is $150 per person, and includes dishes like grilled baby lamb chops and porterhouse steak with hash browns, each paired with a different wine. Make reservations by calling 212-277-0020. [EaterWire]

BOOK CLUB — Here's a look at Michael White's new cookbook, Classico e Moderno. As the title suggests, it's divided into a section of classic Italian recipes, like tomato sauces and panna cotta, and a more modern section of high-end, Marea-esque recipes like shrimp tartare with crushed almonds.
