Truffles at Corkbuzz; David Tanis Cooks at Wythe Hotel

TRUFFLE MADNESSCorkbuzz is offering a "what grows together, goes together" special this weekend: fazzoletti pasta with butter, pecorino, and shaved white truffles with Gianfranco Bovio Vigna Arborina '96 from Barolo. The special is $65 for a quarter bottle with four grams of truffles, or $120 for a half bottle with eight grams. As truffle specials go, this is a pretty darn good deal. [EaterWire]

WILLIAMSBURG — Cookbook author and former Chez Panisse chef David Tanis will cook dinners with Sean Rembold in the event space at the Wythe Hotel on November 5 and 6.
