Sankeys Is Finally Ready to Open In New York City

Sankeys, a Manchester, UK-based dance club, has finalized its opening plans for its long-in-the-works New York City expansion project. The owners had originally announced the new club way back in 2010, but they wound up losing their original location to another European club, but wound up falling in love with the old District 36 space and took that over.

After six months of long hard work, they are ready to unwrap their new club on Halloween weekend with three nights of parties. Unlike their more established competition in New York at places like Pacha, Marquee and Lavo, the Sankeys team will be looking to introduce new DJ talent that have done well in the UK and Ibiza. The club will feature a Void Incubus sound system and the world's first hydraulic LED Grid Matrix system, which is probably pretty intense.
