SOHO — Year-old bar The Dalloway is moving from its home on Broome Street to a new location on the Lower East Side. The bar closed over the weekend. The owners have not announced the address of the new space, but they plan to reopen in about two months. In an email, the owners note: "We are so grateful for our community and your continuous support, as it is all of you who helped make The Dalloway what it is today. We are thrilled that our new space will bring our distinct brand of sophisticated night life that our loyal customers know us for." [EaterWire]
WILLIAMSBURG — Upper Elm, the King & Grove's rooftop bar, just debuted some new cocktails and food items. That food comes from the kitchen of The Elm, Paul Liebrandt's two star restaurant downstairs. Now guests can nibble on things like fondue with bread, artichoke dip, and churros with chocolate. The bar also screens movies on Wednesday nights, and hosts live music on Thursday nights. TRUFFLE MANIA — More restaurants are jumping on the white truffle train. Asellina is offering a three-course truffle menu from now through October 30. BLT Prime is severing several dishes made with truffles, including black sea bass en "papillote" and a white truffle bruschetta. And Clement in the Peninsula hotel is now serving scallops with cauliflower and white truffles. [EaterWire]
